Why is Shopping in the Outlet Cheaper?

Outlets are generally cheaper because they sell products that may have been overproduced and didn’t sell well in the regular store, for example in Manhattan.

However, there are also companies in the retail industry that manufacture products specifically for outlets. Small details such as zips, buttons, or branding are then specifically changed in order to distinguish them from the rest of the products.
