Less than an hour from Manhattan, you’ll find Woodbury Common Premium Outlet, which includes over 220 designer stores. There you will find well-known designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Gap Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo, Timberland, Michael Kors, and many many more.

And from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street at 8th Avenue) you can easily get there and back by bus (ShortLine / Coach USA). In addition, you can benefit from a discount booklet worth several hundred dollars if you are a holder of the New York Pass. Since the New York Pass is already profitable in the city, this is a small additional bonus on top. Or you can simply use the bus that takes you directly from Penn Station to the outlet (information on tickets is available here).

After many years of waiting and constant delay, the huge shopping and entertainment complex is due to finally open this autumn.
The Tanger Outlets are also in the immediate vicinity of New York – approx. 1.5 to 2 hours away. And two on Long Island: the Riverhead and Deer Park Outlet.
We know both of them personally from a shopping tour where I covered my whole family with sports gear. At that time we had borrowed a car and used it to visit these two outlets for a shopping trip. If you visit the outlet in summer, you should definitely make a detour to the beach.

How do you get to the Jersey Gardens Outlet? It is well connected in terms of traffic. On the bus, you will arrive directly at the outlet in 34 minutes. You start at the Port Authority Bus Terminal (between 8th and 9th Avenues and 40th to 42nd Streets) – the blue MTA Trains A, C and E stop here.
When you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, you have to take lines 111 and 115 from NJtransit. You have to buy the roundtrip tickets there beforehand and you can also give the bus number (111 or 115). The buses run very regularly (about 1 an hour). According to the timetable, the journey takes a little more than half an hour – but it also depends a little on traffic. The bus back to New York leaves exactly where you arrived. When you arrive at the Jersey Gardens Outlet: have fun shopping.
