Are you looking for a special restaurant for a romantic evening for two? It doesn’t matter whether you are looking for a restaurant on Valentine’s Day, for your wedding day, or just for a date night with your loved one, we have put together the best romantic restaurants here. By the way, we recommend making reservations well in advance everywhere.

The River Café (Brooklyn Heights) • $$$$

The River Café view

When you think of romantic NYC restaurants, the River Café comes straight to mind. Why? The recently renovated restaurant is located at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and offers uninterrupted views of the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s not cheap here, you can expect a top-class evening, but just the thing for a special occasion. By the way, making chic is part of good form here. A tie and jacket for men are desirable.

One if by Land, Two if by Sea (Greenwich Village) • $$$$

Known as one of the romantic restaurants in New York, One if by Land, Two if by Sea is the right address for a wonderful evening for two. The building was built in 1767, which makes the ambiance incredibly beautiful. The restaurant has a few fireplaces, a piano and a garden, which is of course ideal in summer. The food is also outstanding. In terms of price, the One if by Land, Two if by Sea can also be classified in the more expensive category. Is it worth it? We think so.

Tribeca Grill (Tribeca) • $$$

The Tribeca Grill is one of Sabrina’s favorite restaurants in New York. The food is incredibly delicious and it’s also romantic in Robert De Niro’s restaurant in Tribeca. On Valentine’s Day, there is always a special menu just for Lovers’ Day.

Locanda Verde (Tribeca) • $$$

Cozy, stylish, and excellent cuisine. The Locanda Verde at the Greenwich Hotel offers Italian cuisine. Locanda is an Italian word for a place to eat for the locals. This is exactly the ambiance that the Locanda Verde exudes. The Italian is particularly popular for its excellent service. The service is great. On Valentine’s Day, there is also a special dinner for all lovers. Be sure to order the focaccia and burrata – our highlight of the menu.

The Blue Box Café (Midtown) • $$$

Okay, this isn’t a dinner restaurant, but it’s probably every woman’s dream nonetheless: breakfast at Tiffany’s. In the Blue Box Café, there is a three-course breakfast or lunch in a blue and white decorated café. True to the Tiffany & Co brand.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get a table here. 30 days in advance at 9 AM it is possible to reserve the table if you are not quick enough you are unlucky. Unfortunately, it is also expensive, but you pay for the unforgettable experience of the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.

Fig & Olive (Meatpacking District) • $$$

Fig&Olive Restaurant

Attention foodies: Fig & Olive in the Meatpacking District is not only known among locals for its delicious food, but it is also one of the most romantic restaurants in NYC. There are 3 Fig & Olive locations in New York, but we like the restaurant in Meatpacking best of all.

With its proximity to the High Line Park, you can also combine a romantic visit to a restaurant with a walk on the High Line.

ABC Kitchen (Gramercy Park) • $$$

ABC Kitchen

The ABC Kitchen is also on the list of romantic restaurants in NYC. We were particularly impressed by the decoration and the ambiance. The dimmed lights and enough space in the restaurant offer enough privacy, which is important on a romantic evening in NYC, right?

The food is fresh and highly recommended. They advertise “From the farm to the table” and it tastes just as delicious. ABC Kitchen is usually there during Restaurant Week in NYC.

The View (Midtown) • $$$

The View

When we talk about romantic restaurants in NYC, The View is a must. It’s a rooftop restaurant on top of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. The special? It rotates 360 ° and allows visitors to enjoy great views of the city during their dinner.

We also enjoyed the food here very much. An evening for two at The View in New York will definitely be unforgettable.

Biricchino (Chelsea) • $$

Not all romantic restaurants in NYC have to be high-priced. The Biricchino is a good alternative for the small budget. The cozy Italian restaurant in Chelsea right by the Magnet Theater (a comedy theater) offers a fairly small menu, with every dish being prepared to perfection. In terms of price, you really can’t go wrong here and if you’re still in the mood for comedy: Right next door you can always watch “The Friday Night Sh * w” and “Premiere: The Improvised Musical” on Fridays for only $ 10.

Milk and Roses • $$

Another romantic NYC restaurant for the small budget is Milk and Roses in Greenpoint. You can spend a great date for two here, surrounded by bookshelves and candles. In summer you can also sit outside. The restaurant is so romantic that it even hosts weddings.
