Friends, New York

Night New York
A lot of our favorite movies and series were filmed in the Big Apple and we wanted to follow in the footsteps of our favorite actors, at least for a little while. Here’s our list of places we’ve visited and, as a bonus, some tips to help you get the most out of your tour.
Greenwich Village
Greenwich Village, affectionately known as “The Village,” is a place right in beautiful Manhattan. Although Manhattan is more known for large companies, shopping miles, and the hub of everything that happens, the small district is better known for its very own character.
New York
Cinema has given the world many films about New York. Along with the paintings, viewers received several enduring myths about life in this metropolis.
Filming Locations in New York City
Almost every visitor to New York has seen the city on the big screen at least once. Many places seem familiar and you can’t shake the feeling that you’ve been there somehow, right?
Skyscrapers, Mountains and Rural Idyll
The Big Apple is one of the absolute hotspots in the film and TV industry. Numerous programs are produced here throughout the year. On-site you can take a look behind the scenes and take a look at filming locations from classic series such as “Sex and the City” from HBO or hits such as Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”.
1977: John Travolta in the movie "Saturday Night Fever"
The city is experiencing one of the toughest years in its history. But New York will reinvent itself again. After all, this is where the best ideas have always come from – from hot dogs to acrylic paint to disco.
